Description
Darwi air-drying clay, well known for the fineness of its grain, is used for any modelling or sculpting work. This can be used to make small decorative items, jewelry, dolls, statuettes or even to repair some materials such as furniture.
It does not smell and does not stick to the hands, so the work stays pleasant. The clay is flexible and semi-elastic. It does not shrink when drying and is completely opaque.
The Darwi Roc is even harder and more resistant than the classic clay after drying. It is used for more delicate work. It is very resistant to shocks once dry. Your creation can fall without breaking thanks to the hardness which is similar to the marble! Once dry, the clay is slightly ivory. Sand it for a whiter result.
If you plan to make a complicated sculpture with many fine parts, we recommend using a wire frame that will serve as a structure for the clay when still wet until it fully dries.
